Our CEO Michael Gutter has over twenty-five years of experience in the equipment leasing and merchant processing industries. He is a second-generation leader in the equipment leasing business.

Michael graduated Magna cum Laude in 1991 from SUNY Albany with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration and a Concentration in Finance. Upon graduation he worked in the Structured Finance Group at the accounting firm, Arthur Andersen. He then joined Gramercy Leasing, a subsidiary of Atlantic Bank of New York where he ran the bank’s middle market leasing program. In 2002 he spun off on his own and founded Arista which has become a nationally recognized finance company in the equipment leasing and merchant processing industries. In May of 2008 Entrepreneur Magazine named Arista Leasing on the Hot 100 List of fastest growing companies in the United States.

In 2019 Michael became the Chairman of the Foundation Board at Englewood Health in Englewood, NJ where he oversees the fundraising efforts of the healthcare system. He is also a Trustee on their main board and the Vice President of the Alpine Country Club Board of Directors.
